GCSE & A Level Fully Immersive Courses

GCSE Student
This Spanish course is specially designed for students who want to have successful results in the exams but also want to master the language integrally. You will receive intensive and active tuition both inside the classroom and out. The first day you arrive you will have a mock exam to determine your current competence in writing, listening, speaking and reading. Based on the results of the mock exam, we will make special reinforcements in the specific areas that the student needs the most.

We will review grammar, vocabulary and Spanish expressions. The student will have the advantage of being hosted by the teacher exposing to the language so you are continuously speaking, listening and learning. Students will also have 24 hours full supervision and social and cultural activities each day.
Through our agenda which includes a diverse range of activities, students will learn more about the Spanish culture, history and of course, they will have fun.

What is included:

1 or 2 intensive weeks of Spanish with different activities to improve grammar, vocabulary, writing and speaking. There will also be options of:

Painting classes
Dance Classes
Accommodation in single room with Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Many different visits to Barcelona attractions. All this would be agreed in advance with the student based on his or her like. Examples might include: Visit to Parc Guel, Barcelona zoo, Barcelona beach, Museums, Tibidabo Theme park, etc..

Other Activities:

Exploring the city and it's history
Cinema
Theater
Full supervision 24 hours
Collection from the airport and accompaniment back upon return.

After the course, students can carry on with online lessons to continue with the learning process. We give discounts for these 'follow up' online lessons.

How does it work?
Before your trip, the teacher will contact you and you will plan the social activities together. Then from the moment you arrive, you will start your immersion. The teacher will meet you when you get to Barcelona (at the airport, train station etc). You will be hosted with them at their home and every day you will have breakfast together and a 3 hour lesson consisting of grammar, conversation, pronunciation, Spanish expressions and vocabulary. After the lessons you go out and have lunch with the teacher and start practising what you have learned in the class in the real world.

In the afternoon there are the social activities - one each day. In the evening you will have an activity like painting, cinema, theatre or something else of your choosing.

Latest Testimonials:

I would highly recommend coming on this programme because its a great learning experience but at the same time its like a holiday because you eat amazing food, explore and do so many other things. I also felt extremely welcome in Juli's home, she made sure I had everything I could need, I was never left hungry, I had my own room and she made sure I got to do everything I wanted to do in Barcelona while making sure I was always comfortable.
